To return an item to Amazon, first make sure you have the original packaging the item came in. Pack the item securely using plenty of padding material like air pillows or crumpled paper to prevent damage during shipping. Include a copy of the invoice or order confirmation inside the package.
Once packed, address the return package to the address indicated on your invoice or order confirmation page. You can find return labels and instructions on Amazon's website as well. Just go to Your Account, select "Returns & Orders" and click on "Return or replace items." Print the return label and affix it to the package.
Schedule a pickup with your local carrier like UPS, FedEx, or the Post Office. Many carriers offer free pickup schedules through their websites. Alternatively, you can drop off the package at an authorized drop-off location. Once the return item is scanned by the carrier, Amazon will process your refund once they receive and verify the return.
