Blocking someone on TikTok prevents that user from interacting with your account such as commenting on your videos, liking your videos, or following you. Here are the steps to block a user on TikTok:
- Go to the profile of the user you want to block.
- Tap the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner of their profile page.
- Select "Block" from the menu.
- A pop-up will appear to confirm you want to block the user. Tap "Block" to complete the process.
Once blocked, that user will no longer be able to see your videos, follow you, or interact with your account. You also won't see any content or interactions from accounts you have blocked. To unblock a user, go through the same steps but select "Unblock" instead of "Block".
Keep in mind that blocking someone on TikTok only prevents interactions between your account and theirs - it does not notify the user that they have been blocked or remove any prior interactions.
