How to cancel EE contract?
To cancel your EE contract, there are a few steps you need to follow:
1. Contact EE and request to cancel your contract. You can do this over the phone, online via your EE account, or by letter.
2. EE may try to retain you as a customer by offering you incentives like cheaper bills or more data. You can decline these offers if you want to cancel.
3. If you're still within your minimum contract period, you may need to pay an exit fee for cancelling early. EE will inform you of the fee amount before confirming the cancellation.
4. Once your cancellation request has been confirmed, your contract and service will end 30 days later. Make sure not to take out a new EE contract during this 30 day period.
5. Return any EE equipment like phones or routers within 14 days to avoid additional charges. Keep proof of postage in case of any disputes.
6. Consider porting your number to a new network if you don't want to lose your number when cancelling EE.
