Cancelling your Planet Fitness membership is usually a simple process that can be done online or over the phone.
Cancelling Online
To cancel online, login to your Planet Fitness account and follow these steps:
- Go to the "Update Account" section
- Select "Cancel Membership"
- Select your reason for cancelling from the dropdown menu
- Confirm your request to cancel
Cancelling by Phone
If you prefer to cancel over the phone, call Planet Fitness customer service at 1-800-PLANET-FITNESS (1-800-752-6328). Be prepared to provide your membership number and confirmation of your identity.
Timing and Fees
Most Planet Fitness memberships require a 30-day written notice to cancel. You may have to pay a small fee (usually $10-15) to process the cancellation. Be sure to verify any cancellation policies or fees with your specific gym location.
Once your 30-day cancellation period is over, your membership will be terminated and you will no longer be billed going forward.
