There are a few ways to check for bed bugs:

- Check for live bed bugs crawling on your mattress or furniture during the night. Shine a flashlight to spot them.
- Monitor for itchy bites while sleeping, which could be a sign of bed bug activity and feeding.
- Use a bright flashlight to scan inside electrical outlets and wall cracks near your bed for bed bugs or eggs.
It's best to inspect thoroughly both day and night as bed bugs may hide during the day. Contact a professional pest control operator if you find signs of bed bugs.
