To close apps on iPhone 14:
1. Swipe upward from the bottom edge of any screen to open the app switcher.
2. Swipe left or right on the app thumbnail at the bottom of the app switcher to close it.
3. Alternately, you can press and hold gently on any app thumbnail until an "X" appears in the corner. Tap the "X" to close the app.
4. To close all open apps at once, swipe all the way to the right until an opaque card with a notation "Close All" appears and tap it.
5. You can also use the recently added back tap feature on iPhone 14 models. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch and enable Back Tap. Then assign the action "Close All Apps" to a double or triple tap on the back of your iPhone.
