How To Cut A Mango?

Here are the steps to cut a mango:

  1. Remove the mango from the stem and cut off the cheeks from both sides of the large flat seed in the center.
  2. Score the mango flesh by cutting through the skin in a cross-hatch pattern, being careful not to cut all the way through to the skin on the other side.
  3. Push upwards on the scored skin side to pop out the mango cubes.
  4. You can either eat the mango cubes with the skin on or slice off the skin by running your knife between the flesh and skin.
  5. Cut the remaining mango pieces into smaller cubes or slices and enjoy!

Mangoes can also be peeled first before cutting if you prefer without the skin. Enjoy your fresh cut mango!
