Over time, calcium buildup from hard water can cause scale to form inside your Tassimo coffee machine. This scale needs to be removed through a descaling process to keep your machine running smoothly.
What You'll Need
- Tassimo descaling solution pod
- Container or bowl large enough to hold the contents of the descaling pod
Instructions
- Remove and empty the water reservoir.
- Place the container underneath the coffee outlet.
- Insert the descaling solution pod into your Tassimo machine and close the lid.
- Press the button to start the descaling cycle. The machine will automatically run the solution through.
- Once finished, discard the used descaling solution and rinse the reservoir thoroughly with fresh water.
- Refill the water reservoir and run two rinse cycles using fresh water to flush out any remaining descaling solution.
- Your Tassimo is now descaled and ready to use again!
Be sure to descale your Tassimo every 2-3 months for best performance. The descaling process only takes about 15 minutes.
