To destroy the Pensieve guardian orb, you must use a highly concentrated jet of flame from your wand. Direct the jet of flame at the center of the orb and keep it focused there until the orb begins to crack and break apart. This will disable the guardian magic and allow you to access the memories contained in the Pensieve without issue.
