Scrambled eggs are a quick and easy breakfast or light meal.
- Crack 2-3 eggs into a bowl and beat them with a fork until well blended.
- Melt 1 teaspoon butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Pour the eggs into the hot skillet. As the eggs start to set, gently push them across the pan with a spatula so that the uncooked eggs flows underneath.
- Continue cooking and stirring until the eggs are thickened and no visible liquid egg remains. This should take 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and serve scrambled eggs immediately. You can top them with cheese, spinach, tomatoes or other add-ins like salsa.
For fluffier scrambled eggs, beat the eggs vigorously before cooking. You can also add a tablespoon of milk or cream to the eggs for extra moisture and tenderness.
