To accurately measure your bra size, you will need a measuring tape and a mirror. Here are the steps:
- Measure around your ribs or chest, just under your breasts and across your back. Make sure the tape is parallel to the floor.
- Record this measurement in inches. This is your band size.
- While standing up straight, measure around the fullest part of your breasts. Make sure the measuring tape is level across your breasts and parallel to the floor.
- Record this measurement in inches. This is your cup size.
- Subtract your band measurement from your bust measurement. The difference will correspond to your cup size:
- 0-1 inch difference = A cup
- 1-2 inch difference = B cup
- 2-3 inch difference = C cup
- 3-4 inch difference = D cup
- 4+ inch difference = DD/DDD/etc.
For example, if your underbust measures 32 inches and your bust measures 35 inches, the difference is 3 inches. So your bra size would be 32C.
Try on bras in your measured size for the best fit. Adjust the cup or band size as needed for comfort.
