To measure your ring size, you'll need a ring size measuring tape or scale. These are available at most jewelry stores. To use it:
- Clean your fingers and make sure they are dry.
- Gently slide the measuring tool around your ring finger until you feel slight resistance.
- Look at the number the tool lines up with. This is your ring size in U.S. measurement.
If you don't have a measuring tool, you can also measure your ring size at home. Cut a strip of paper and wrap it snugly but not too tightly around your ring finger. Mark where the ends meet and measure the paper's circumference in millimeters. Convert that number to the nearest U.S. ring size.
Always try rings on to double check your exact size, as fingers can swell or shrink slightly depending on temperature, hydration, and other factors. Sizing up a half size is preferable to a ring being too tight.
