Here are the steps to play Powerball:
- Pick 5 numbers between 1-69 for the white balls.
- Pick 1 number between 1-26 for the red Powerball.
- You can choose your own numbers or let the lottery terminal randomly pick them for you.
- Pay $2 per play. Add the Power Play for $1 more per play to multiply non-jackpot prizes.
- Drawings are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:59 pm ET.
- Match all 6 numbers to win the jackpot. Lower tier prizes are also available for matching some but not all numbers.
