How To Play Solitaire?

Here are the basic steps to play solitaire:

  1. Shuffle a standard 52-card deck and place the cards face down on the table.
  2. Deal the top card from the deck into a pile on the far left, called the "foundation" pile.
  3. Deal the next card face up into a pile to the right of the foundation pile, called the "tableau" pile. Continue dealing cards face up onto the tableau in descending order (Ace through King).
  4. Once you have used all the cards from the deck, the rest of the cards will be in increasing order from Ace to King in the tableau piles.
  5. Move cards from the tableau piles to the foundation pile by suit, moving one card at a time from left to right in descending order (King through Ace).
  6. Draw additional cards from the deck one at a time and place them into empty spaces on the tableau piles.
  7. The goal is to move all cards from the tableau piles to the foundation piles with the same suit in descending order.
  8. You win if you can move all cards to the foundation piles. You lose if you cannot make any more moves.
