How To Put Kt Tape On Shoulder For Rotator Cuff?

image

KT tape can help provide support to your rotator cuff and improve shoulder mobility. Here are the steps:

  1. Clean and dry the skin over your shoulder.
  2. Stretch the KT tape 20-30% longer than the area you need to cover.
  3. Start applying the tape at the center of your shoulder joint, leaving some slack for mobility.
  4. Smooth the tape down as you apply it across your shoulder toward your back.
  5. Finish your application by smoothing the tape down toward your arm.
  6. You may apply multiple strips of tape for extra support if needed.
  7. Keep the tape on for 3-5 days before removing and reapplying as desired.

Be sure not to pull the tape too tightly, as you still want shoulder mobility. Check if the tape needs adjustment after a few movements. Listen to your body and remove the tape if there is discomfort.
