How To Remix A Snap?

Here are the basic steps to remix a Snap:

1. Find a Snap you want to remix on Snapchat's public stories. You can see the Snaps others have shared to their stories by swiping right from the camera screen.
2. Tap and hold on the Snap you want to remix until a popup menu appears. Then select "Remix this Snap."
3. You'll now see the original Snap in your camera viewfinder. Record a new video or take a photo responding to or building on the original Snap.
4. You can layer your new media over the original, move it around, zoom in/out, etc. Get creative with positioning it!
5. Add text, drawings, emojis, filters, or lenses to your remix as desired.
6. When done, tap the blue checkmark button to post your remixed Snap back to your own story for others to see.
