To remove a LUT from a BRAW file, you can use software like DaVinci Resolve. In Resolve, open the BRAW file in the media pool and right click on it. Select "Remove LUT" from the menu. This will remove any LUT that was baked into the metadata of the BRAW file, restoring the original ungraded image data.
You can also use command line tools like Blackmagic RAW Viewer to remove LUTs from BRAW files. Open a terminal/command prompt and navigate to the location of the BRAW file. Then run the command "bmrawview filename.braw -r" where filename.braw is replaced with the actual filename. This will write a new BRAW file with the LUT removed to the same location with "_r" appended to the filename.
Some other video editing software like Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve also allow removing LUTs from BRAW clips in the timeline. Right click on the clip and look for an option to remove or reset the LUT. This non-destructively removes the LUT for editing while retaining the original graded image data in the file metadata.
