How To Reset Airpods?

There are a few different ways to reset your AirPods depending on the issue you're having:

Forget the AirPods from Bluetooth

Go to Settings > Bluetooth on your iOS device. Select the "i" icon next to your AirPods. Tap "Forget this Device". This removes the AirPods from the Bluetooth menu so you can pair them again fresh.

Reset Connection Preferences

Go to Settings > Bluetooth > tap the "i" icon next to your AirPods. Toggle the "Connections" setting off and then back on. This resets which devices the AirPods prefer to connect to.

Factory Reset AirPods

Put the AirPods in the charging case and close the lid. Wait 15 seconds then open the lid. The status light on the front will flash amber and white to indicate a factory reset. You'll need to re-pair the AirPods after this reset.

Try one of these reset options if your AirPods aren't charging, not connecting, or experiencing other issues. A reset can fix glitches and clear outdated connection data.
