How To Restart An Apple Watch?

image

To restart an Apple Watch, press and hold both the Side button and the Digital Crown simultaneously. Continue holding both buttons until you see the Apple logo appear on the screen, which may take up to 10 seconds. This will perform a hard restart of your Apple Watch, similar to restarting an iPhone by pressing and holding the Side/Power button.

You may need to restart your Apple Watch if it's unresponsive, frozen, or glitching. Restarting refreshes the operating system and can potentially resolve any software issues. Just be sure not to hold the buttons for too long, or it may force your Apple Watch into Recovery Mode instead of a simple restart.

You can also restart your Apple Watch through the Watch app on your iPhone. Open the Watch app and go to General > Shut Down, then tap "Shut Down" to power off your Apple Watch. Once shut off, the Apple Watch will automatically power back on after a few seconds, completing the restart process remotely from your iPhone.
