Restoring your Xbox 360 to its factory defaults will wipe all custom settings and remove any downloaded content or saves. Here are the steps to do this:

Via the Xbox 360 Dashboard

  1. From the Xbox 360 dashboard, go to "System Settings."
  2. Select " console settings."
  3. Choose "memory."
  4. Select "Reset console to factory defaults."
  5. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm and reset your console.

Using the Console Reset Button

If your console is unresponsive, you can force a factory reset using the reset button:

  1. Turn off the console completely.
  2. Locate the small reset button on the front or side of the console, usually covered by a small door or flap.
  3. Use a paperclip or other thin object to press and hold the reset button for 5-10 seconds until the console starts up again.

Your Xbox 360 is now restored to its original factory settings.
