If you accidentally deleted text messages from your Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, don't worry - there are a few ways to try recovering them:
Check the Recycle Bin
Samsung messages app has a recycle bin feature that stores deleted messages for a period of time before permanent deletion. To check it: Open the Messages app > Tap the three-dot menu in the top right > Settings > Advanced > Delete messages from recycle bin.
Use a Data Recovery App
You can try using a data recovery app like Dr. Fone to scan your phone's storage and attempt to retrieve recently deleted text messages. These apps work best if you haven't written or deleted any new data since removing the messages.
Restore from Backup
If you have your phone set up to back up to Samsung Cloud or your Google account, see if restoring an older backup will bring back the deleted messages. Just be aware restoring overwrites your current data.
Unfortunately, once text messages are permanently deleted there is usually no way to retrieve them. But these methods may work if the deletion happened recently.
