Here are a few ways to share your Apple TV with family members:
Set Up Family Sharing
Family Sharing allows up to six people in your family to share purchases like movies, TV shows, apps, and books. Anyone in your Family Sharing group can access the content you've purchased on any of their devices. To set it up, go to Settings > [your name] > Set Up Family Sharing on your Apple TV.
Share App Purchases
Even without Family Sharing enabled, you can share individual apps you've purchased on the App Store. Go to the App Store app, select Purchases, find the app you want to share, and click the Share button. Anyone you share with will be able to download that app without a fee.
Use Separate Apple IDs
If sharing purchases isn't a priority, have each family member use their own Apple ID to create separate accounts on the Apple TV. That way everyone has their own personalized recommendations, watch histories, etc. Make sure to set the Apple TV as each person's Home device.
With a few easy settings adjustments, your Apple TV can be a shared media hub for the whole family to enjoy.
