How to Train Your Dragon 2 is a 2014 American computer-animated fantasy action film produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by 20th Century Fox. It is loosely based on the book series of the same name by Cressida Cowell and directed by Dean DeBlois, who also co-directed the 2010 film How to Train Your Dragon. The film stars the voices of Jay Baruchel, Cate Blanchett, Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, T.J. Miller, Kristen Wiig, and Djimon Hounsou.
Plot
Five years after the events of the first film, Hiccup explores the edges of the archipelago and befriends a wild dragon he calls Toothless. Meanwhile, Drago Bludvist, a power-hungry warlord, has claimed loyalty from all dragon trappers in hopes of assembling a dragon army. Learning of a Hidden World where the dragons originated from, Hiccup and Toothless must fight Drago to protect both the dragons and their kind.
