If you have entered the wrong PIN code multiple times and your SIM card is now locked with a PUK code, here are some options to try and unlock it without the PUK:
- Contact your mobile network provider and request a PUK code reset. They may be able to reset the PUK code for you after verifying your identity.
- See if the phone's IMEI number is registered with your provider. Sometimes providing the IMEI is enough for them to issue a new PUK code.
- Try entering obvious PUK codes like 1111, 1234, 0000. Some SIM cards use default codes that may work.
- See if your phone has a "emergency call" option even when the SIM is locked. This allows calling your provider for PUK support without being unlocked.
- As a last resort, get a new SIM card issued by your provider if the above options don't work. There may be a replacement fee.
Without the correct PUK, it's very difficult to unlock the SIM card permanently. Contacting your mobile provider is the best way to resolve the lock without losing your old SIM's number.
