Here are the steps to sterilise your own bottles:

  1. Wash all bottles, caps, teats and any other components thoroughly using hot soapy water.
  2. Rinse everything well to remove any soap residue.
  3. Place items in a sterilising solution. You can use either boiling water or chemical sterilising solutions. If using boiling water, boil components for 5 minutes. Follow instructions on the packaging if using a chemical solution.
  4. Allow items to fully air dry before using. Do not rinse off any residual chemical sterilising solution.
  5. Store sterilised items in a clean, dry place until next use to keep them germ-free.

Be sure to sterilise bottles before first use and before each subsequent use. This helps protect against bacteria and prevents infection. Proper sterilisation is important for your baby's health.
